Situated in the beautiful historic centre of Groningen, in the northern part of Holland, this classic Dutch sailing clipper offers a unique stay, close to the lively city Groningen.With lots of pubs, historic buildings, museums and the concert hall nearby, the hotel presents itself as the ideal base to explore this picturesque town.
The houseboat sails during summer and therefore is only available to book in autumn, winter and spring.

The ship is 24 metres long, 5 metres wide and 2.10 metres high.It was built in 1897 and has been used as sailing freight ship in the past to move coal, turf, potatoes and wheat from one part of Holland to another.
In the 1950's a few idealists started restoring these boats to sailing ships again, of course with certain luxury. The ship was from then on used as a sailing boat for participating guests, who wanted to make trips in the summer in the shallow waters of Holland, Ijsselmeer and Waddensea.

The ship has 4 cabins. 2 cabins with a double bed, one with 7 single beds and one with 4 single beds. In the case of less guests per cabin, we adjust the renting price.Usługi gastronomiczne
Groups can make use of the kitchen on request. The skipper can make a traditional Dutch Marine dinner for you if requested.The ship is located near the city centre. On the large market squares Vismarkt (fresh fish at a 5-minute walk) and Grote Markt (clothing at a 7-minute walk), there are also several restaurants and pubs.

The ship is located opposite Hoge der A housenr 20.By bus:
- Take bus number 15 towards Zernike.
- Get off at the A straat/ Westerhaven.
- Walk along the canal and you will find the ship across number 20.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
Baby cots are not available.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas only and costs EUR 1.00 per hour.
Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is included in the room rate.
Parking: Free Private parking is possible on streets nearby.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.
