Short description

Our quiet and pleasant Hotel Het Witte Huis is situated in one of Bergen's many lovely lanes, not far from the lively village centre and approximately five kilometres from the beach. Each of our 31 spacious guest rooms -
single, double and family rooms - has its own bathroom, colour TV,
writing desk, telephone and a safe (optional). The hotel has a lift,
private parking and a secure bicycle shed.
We also have special halfboard arrangments.

All rooms have private bathrooms and two single beds.
we also have 2 single- and one doubleroom on the groundfloor.

Food and beverages

The restaurant is closed from the 15th of October till the 1st of February 2008.

Area information

Bergen and its surroundings have something to offer for everybody. There are pleasant outdoor cafés, good shopping, sport facilities, public gardens, and of course the lovely scenery. There are many beautiful and peaceful spots in the dunes and in the polders which can only be reached on foot or by bicycle. Bergen is also conveniently situated for visits, for example, to Alkmaar famous for its cheese market or Amsterdam, both within easy reach by public transport. Den Helder and its surrounding area are also worth a visit Highlights in Bergen are festivals such as 'Illumination Night' in August and the 'Jazz and Sail' weekend in September. There are many other events worth visiting during the summer including the weekly artistic evening markets and several concerts, not least the Holland Music Sessions. As you see Bergen offers you many attractions for a memorable and enjoyable stay

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 22.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 3.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site.

Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
