Food and beverages

Hotel Meyer has a bar and restaurant with a cosy fire place. In tthe restaurant our guests can dine à la carte or choose one of our menus. Of course it is also possible to choose a main dish from our plate service carte.
From 12.00 hours untill 18.00 hours our guest can use the lunch menu.
The extensive breakfast buffet is ready from 08.00 hours up to 11.00 hours.
Our terrace is ideal for the warm summer months.

Area information

Bergen aan Zee belongs to the municipality of Bergen, together with Bergen, Schoorl, Groet and Camperduin. Bergen aan Zee is surrounded by dunes and forests of the Schoorl forestry and the Noord-Holland Dune reserve.

The artistic village of Bergen still attracts many artists. They still display their works in one of the galleries, the Kunstenaarscentrum (artists' centre) or at one of the art and artistic markets.

The city of Alkmaar is located in the area and offers a historic city centre and the Kaasmarkt (cheese market). The oldest boat auction de Broeker Veiling in Broek op Langedijk, the Westfriese (west Frisian) market in Schagen; just to name a few examples of the many attractions that are on offer in the area.

By Car

From the direction of Amsterdam/Haarlem (A9), Komende uit de richting Amsterdam/Haarlem (A9), on the ring road Alkmaar follow the direction of Den Helder.Take the exit Bergen. Once inside the village of Bergen follow the signs to Bergen Aan Zee.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 9 years are charged EUR 17.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 27.50 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 5.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on streets nearby.
