Numerous authentic elements have been meticulously preserved, which have resulted in the old post-office's past still being abundantly visible.
The postbox area has become the entrance, the delivery hall - the breakfast room and the spacious courtyard can be reached by way of the old loading-bay platform.

Brummen is situated 6 km from Zutphen and8km from Doesburg. These two splendid old hanseatic towns have local museums, both housed in their magnificently restored town centres. You will not be disappointed by the variety of possibilities for eating and/or going out.
The village of Brummen lies on the river IJssel. A small ferry will transport you across to Bronkhorst, Holland's smallest town. At Bronkhorst begins the beautiful green part of the country, called the Achterhoek. Brummen itself is situated on the edge of the Veluwe, an excellent part of the country for those who wish to cycle or to walk.
