It is the perfect location for your business meeting as well as for your holiday. The hotel is not far from Belgium. Picturesque cities like Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp are certainly worth visiting. At ‘Walcheren’ cities like Middelburg, Goes and Flushing are only a half an hour drive through the Westerschelde tunnel. The countryside of Zeeland is also very suitable for cycling and walking tours.

Every room is equipped with a Kingsize bed, radio, colour TV, telephone, minibar, hairdryer, trouser press, bathrobe, coffee and thee making facilities. Most of our rooms have Fantastic views over the busily navigated Schelde river, where you can watch the enormous vessels passing by. The hotel is only a two minute walk away from the old town centre of Terneuzen.

In our Grand Café de la Vie you can enjoy our excellent kitchen in “Jugendstil style”. Just sit down for a drink or grab a bite to eat, like a Sandwich or a salad. Or have a dinner with some friends. You can choose between dining à la carte and a three-course week menu. Whether permitting, lunch or dinner can be served on the terrace.

Tourists information

ANTWERP - TERNEUZEN: II Coming from Antwerp you have to take the "Kennedytunnel (subway). First follow the signs Rotterdam-Brugge, then the signs Zelzate/Hulst (N49), after this you take the junction Zelzate. In Zelzate you pass the border, and there you take the junction Terneuzen. First you are driving on the "Expressroad" followed by the "Tractaatroad". The "Tractaatroad" is a direct road to Terneuzen. Once arriving in Terneuzen, follow the sign Centre, and the signs of L'Escaut. Golden Tulip L'Escaut is situated nearby the centre, overlooking the river Schelde.

GHENT - TERNEUZEN: Coming from Ghent you have to take the "Expressroad" followed by the "Tractaatroad"( N253). The "Tractaatroad" is a direct road to to Terneuzen. Once arriving in Terneuzen, follow the sign Centre, and the signs of L'Escaut. Golden Tulip L'Escaut is situated nearby the centre, overlooking the river Schelde.

BRUSSELS - TERNEUZEN : Follow the A10 from Brussels to Ghent. Take the (R4) at Ghent and follow Antwerp/Zelzate Do not take the junction to Antwerp, but follow the R4 to Zelzate. You'll pass Zelzate and follow the same way (N253) Via Antwerpen

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 7.50 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 22.50 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 3.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 1.25 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and charges are applicable.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Private parking is possible on site and costs EUR 9.00 per day.
